Hi there, my name is Steffani, owner of Goldie & Clay. I live in Sydney, Australia with my husband, Luke, our 4.5 year old Tallulah and our 2.5 year old Alby and our 6 month old baby Louie. 

I have spent my entire childhood and adulthood being creative, thanks to my mum and dad. Growing up, my sister and I would sell handmade cards on the side of the road, which was only just the beginning. Since then, I have had my own melting moments business, have made countless wedding and birthday cakes for family and friends and have designed and created wedding signs for my own wedding and for the weddings of others (I still continue to do a bit of this every now and then!).

During Sydney's lockdown, in between suffering morning sickness and looking after a toddler, I lost my spark and my creativity. It wasn't until I decided to start planning Tallulah's big girl room that I felt it coming back. I wanted to create some handmade wall hangings for her room in the style I envisioned to bring it together. From there, Goldie & Clay was born.

Since then, I have been experimenting with different clays, textures, fabrics and paints to create ornaments, gift tags, wall hangings and a bit of home decor.

Everything you see is hand made in some form, whether it be hand rolled and cut clay, or hand painted artworks. Each piece contains a little bit of quirk but a lot of love. I hope you love what you see as I have poured a lot of care into every single piece.
